COMMON SENSE: Hillary’s defeat wasn’t simply because she was a poor candidate or because she was corrupt and deceitful. It was also a repudiation of President Obama’s failed policies. This variable is something that is usually left out of the equation by most, but it was definitely a significant factor.
During Obama’s tenure, America’s decline was evident to everybody other than those who refuse to admit any reality that doesn’t fit their highly contrived belief system—in other words, the media, academics, and militant Progressives. To the rest of us—middle America—Obama’s failures were so obvious that Trump won the White House, securing an electoral landslide.
Nevertheless, despite this repudiation, precisely as Jimmy carter has done since his ignominious defeat in 1980, Obama has been pushing the narrative that he was a great President, and Trump is nothing more than a blip on the radar that means nothing. It’s why Obama has been very active in his efforts to undermine the current President, both domestically and internationally.
Obama’s behavior run counter to the longstanding tradition of past Presidents refraining from being critical about the person who succeeds them, but I believe it is much more serious than this. By going to China, India, and France to meet with heads of the heads-of-state for each nation, Obama is actually conducting a counter foreign policy. This is not only dangerous, but it is also illegal. Will he be held accountable for this? Of course not, but he should be.
Domestically, the entire “Russia . . . Russia . . . Russia” narrative, including the Special Council, comes from the Deep State, which loves Obama’s Progressivism and hates Trump’s “Make America Great Again” nationalism. Again, this is not only dangerous, but the entire effort is also an abuse of the judicial process.
That this is destined to cause a Constitutional crisis is irrelevant to Obama and the Progressives. The best interest of the country isn’t nearly as important to them as taking down the current President of the United States. This is their goal—make no mistake about it. Will they be successful? I doubt it, but that will not stop them from trying.
