COMMON SENSE: If you have ever had a bad relationship, you know what projection is. That’s when your spouse or significant other accuses you of behavior that they are actually doing. Usually it’s to assuage their own guilty consciences. They want you to be guilty of what they have actually been doing, so they accuse you of it.
This is what the Democrats are doing now. They are projecting on what Barr and Durham have been attempting to do, equating it with their made-up impeachment inquiry. To deflect from the serious criminality that goes straight into the Obama White House, they are now calling Durham’s criminal investigation “political revenge,” which it most definitely is not.
What they are doing is projection. The fake impeachment inquiry, just like the Mueller investigation, is revenge against Trump for having the audacity to win the 2016 Presidential election.
So, my advise is to pay no attention to the vitriol coming from the Democrats and stay focused on the task at hand . . . bringing justice to criminals like McCabe, Comey, Strzok, Clapper, Brennan and many others.

COMMON SENSE: In “The Prince,” Machiavelli said that a man will forgive the murder of his father more easily than the loss of his patrimony. Machiavelli was right and this can be seen by the inordinate hatred of President Trump. The Left hates Trump because he has successfully thwarted their globalist agenda. Millions dislike Trump’s style, but none of this rivals the animosity of the Deep State to the President.
But why are they so bitter toward him, you might ask? It’s because he is a threat to their most cherished asset—the actual running of the United States of America. The permanent bureaucracy, what we have come to call the Deep State, does not actually believe in representative government. Instead, they believe it is their sole responsibility to govern.
Elections are meaningless to the Deep State. The permanent bureaucrats remain in charge regardless of who is President, whether Democrat or Republican. The differences between the two are just nuances, but that was then and this is now.
Along came Donald Trump. He said he would return the power to the American people and, unlike other Presidential candidates, he actually meant it. So, when he was elected, he became the mortal enemy of the Deep State, and they have been trying to dislodge him from power ever since. So far, they have not been successful but that is not from lack of trying.
This, more than any personality or policy issue, is why there is so much hatred for Donald Trump. It’s is also why he is beloved by millions. They recognize who he is and what he is doing for America, and I am one of these people.

COMMON SENSE: As I have repeatedly explained, our foreign policy is based on our national interests and nothing else. This is the way it should be.
In Syria for example, our national interests would be to protect the oil fields, which are needed, maintain peace between our Turkish ally and Syria, and help the stateless Kurds survive.
For the past month, I have been consistently criticized for not calling for military intervention, or at least the threat of intervention, against our NATO ally Turkey. If we had done this, which nearly all of my friends thought was a good idea, we would have chosen a stateless people over our NATO ally. This would have undermined our primary alliance in the world, and it would have pleased Russia—no doubt about it.
So, by brokering a peace deal, while removing our troops from harm’s way, we have been able to restore peace, put a hedge of protection around the oil fields and secure a place for the Kurds. All of this is good, but we did one more thing as well. We kept American soldiers from dying.
President Trump will not need to go to Dover Air Force Base to receive the coffins of soldiers returning from the Middle East. If we had engaged militarily, we certainly would have sustained casualties, perhaps many. Our foreign policy succeeded without bloodshed. Thank you, Mr. President.

COMMON SENSE: The word “Lynching” is emotionally charged, no doubt about it. The Democrats are trying to make President Trump’s use of it racial but, since the conflict involves Trump, Pelosi and Schiff, I don’t get the connection. Everybody is white.
When the President Tweeted what he did, I had a different take on his reason for using the word. Although it could have had no hidden meaning, I thought it did. I believe it was a deliberate slap in the face to Trump greatest Republican opponent, Mitt Romney. Let me explain why I think so.
In 1844, in Carthage Illinois, Joseph Smith, the founder of Latter Day Saints, was shot and then hung by an angry mob of men in black face. He was hung for having a bank that became insolvent, losing the life savings of the citizens of Carthage. Smith, the original Mormon and president of the bank, was lynched. The next day, fearful Mormons fled West until they reached what has become Utah.
I certainly could be wrong, but this seems like something President Trump would do. He may have been playing chess with his embittered rival while the media and the Democrats mistakenly believe he was playing checkers.

COMMON SENSE: When the House voted to table the resolution to Censure Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), effectively dismissing the Republicans charges, Schiff Tweeted:
“It will be said of House Republicans, when they found they lacked the courage to confront the most dangerous and unethical president in American history, they consoled themselves by attacking those who did.”
Essentially, Schiff is ascribing high and noble motives to himself, which this deeply deceitful Congressman does not deserve. Having been caught in numerous lies and been given four Pinocchios by the Washington Post, you might think Schiff would be penitent and remorseful, but this arrogant man, who barely survived censure, has become even haughtier.
He is a disgrace to the people of Burbank and Glendale. He has shamed them repeatedly, but they keep reelecting him despite his obvious aversion to the truth. The good news is the rest of the country can see for themselves precisely who this odious cretin really is.
By making Schiff the poster boy for impeachment, Speaker Pelosi has made a significant tactical error. Just by his presence, Schiff alienates nearly every American, other than the corrupt media of course. The Democrats will pay a huge price for exalting Schiff, and I hope Schiff hurts his party deeply in November 2020.

COMMON SENSE: The longer the current impeachment effort against President Trump continues, the more contrives it appears to be. Nothing about the Ukrainian story seems on the up and up but, because the media is obsessed with getting rid of President Trump regardless of what is required to do it, millions of gullible Americans have come to believe Trump should be impeached.
The scheme implemented by Pelosi and Schiff is a brilliant manipulation of the law, but it’s a manipulation nonetheless. The whistleblower is not for real. Why do I say this? Because his ties to Rep. Adam Schiff’s office are being well established and documented. This is why Schiff refuses to have him testify, as he should.
This is a hit-job and nothing else. If the inquiry was real, legitimate and straightforward, it wouldn’t be pursued in secret but in the open. Because Pelosi is third in line for the Presidency, she would have recused herself and allowed another to run this sham, but she hasn’t, has she? Newt Gingrich did when Clinton was impeached and so did Rep. Albert when Nixon was about to be charged. Because both Speakers had something potentially to gain, they recused themselves but Pelosi has not.
So far, there have been three votes to impeach Trump and all have failed badly. Since impeachment is the most serious responsibility the House of Representatives has, the Ukraine impeachment effort should be voted upon. Let each representative go on the record. Because Pelosi refuses to do this, probably because she doesn’t want the Republicans to have the ability to force Schiff to testify under oath about the origins of the charge, suspicions about her motives are justified.
CNN may run with this story 24/7, but the American people are beginning to see that it is just another groundless assault on the man the American people chose to be their President. What Pelosi and Schiff are really doing is bearing false witness against Trump, which goes against the Ten Commandments.

COMMON SENSE: Today, the 1,000th day of Trump’s Presidency, the Queen of Darkness is still injecting her poisonous tongue in an effort to excuse her loss in 2016. This time, she has accused Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) of being a Russian asset—the Green Party’s Jill Stein too.
By calling Gabbard a Russian asset, Hillary is accusing a war veteran of being a spy, but she offered no evidence, just the accusation. If Hillary has verifiable proof to support her claim, she should contact the FBI and launch a proper investigation. But Hillary won’t do that, will she? Not Hillary.
Instead, just as she did with President Trump, she will use defamation as her weapon of choice and cut Gabbard to pieces with her false witness. Hillary is good at doing that. She’s been doing it for decades. It’s just about all she is good at any more.
